Can't Live Without it - Travel Edition

When I was in Florida for Christmas last year, a fellow mom couldn't stop raving about her Boppy Travel Pillow, and I kept that in mind for my next trip. So when I was preparing for Baby and I to head back to the Sunshine State three weeks ago, I came across this one instead. It had pretty good reviews and it was less expensive, so I decided to give it a try. I purchased it a bit in advance so I could return it in case it sucked, but guess what? The thing is awesome. The air valve is huge so it took no time to inflate. It easily fit in my carry-on and I was even able to use it on the plane! (We lucked out with an empty seat next to us). I also took it on my most recent trip, a two-week-long stay in West Virginia, and it was a huge help. Obviously it's not the same as the plush original, but it sure helped this tired mama while we were away.

  3. The instructor from the breastfeeding class we took had this pillow as a favorite. I never did try it though (I had the regular Boppy and just lugged it around).

    1. Did you bring it along with you on trips? I have a Boppy type pillow and it just seems so bulky to bring (unless we're driving, I guess, since we have more room that way!)

  6. Never heard of this option before! Great alternative instead of lugging the larger version around. our boppy has become a pillow for Sophie whenever she's out playing in the living room.

    1. I know, right? Anything that becomes compact enough to fit in a carry-on is a winner in my eyes! :-)
